Everyone want's to look good naked, and of course in clothes, but we all want to look back in the mirror at something we are proud of and happy to flaunt. We all want to look good naked but so many of us are scared to admit it. We are scared that we will seem vain, except I think it is healthy to be vain. I have no problem admitting that I want to be lean and mean and beach ready most of the year, yes it's vain but I want to be proud to take my shirt off whenever I like. Except many seem to view this as a negative, but why?

When we are on our own and thinking about what we want in life it is only natural to want to be good looking, desirable and happy with our own body. Except many are scared to admit this in public or to their friends and family. There is nothing wrong with wanting something and to be someone in life and being proud of it. That very person that takes the piss or views it as a negative is the very person that is likely unhappy with themselves. A person that is happy, lean and desirable will only agree with your desire, they are the person that understands and has exactly the same views and desire. The person that see's your selfish goal as a negative is the person that is not happy with themselves and instead of feeling bad about your selfish goal you should only feel bad that they don't share your desire to have happiness and self-worth.
Vanity is not a curse, it is a gift. Of course there is a level of obsession and reality of how healthy such a goal is, and of course some do take their vanity too far (but only in the eyes of others), but that vanity is the exact thought process that is keeping them happy with their body. Why should someone be made to feel bad about wanting to be happy and looking good? If you are one of those people then I suggest you take a relaity check, be proud of your goals, shout about them. The people that I am around know exactly what I want and desire, and thus what I expect from myself. They understand cause they are the very people with similar mindsets, they have their own perception of their desired vanity and self-image, this is only healthy.
This vanity that so many see as a negative is what keeps people going to the gym, eating a good nutritious diet and making lifestyle choices that are conductive to their goals. This is no negative, it's a positive in many ways, in fact vanity is a blessing in disguise.
Don't be a hater, embrace your vanity and get the body you desire and deserve.
